Very recently, an all-new Nothing b series product was teased, which led to a lot of speculation online about what this could be. While one side of the community leaned towards it being a more affordable Nothing Phone b, the other thought it to be the Nothing Ear b. Now, the brand has sneakily confirmed that it is indeed what they are calling the Nothing Phone 4b.
Nothing Phone 4b India Launch Confirmed
The official Nothing X account has "(b)usted" all theories with a teaser for the Nothing Phone 4b. The teaser showcases a pencil running across paper, outlining the blueprint of a phone. This outline gives us a decent idea of what the Nothing Phone 4b design could be like.
From the looks of it, it will retain the signature transparent design of the Nothing phones. We also get a brief glimpse of a single rear camera. What ultimately confirms the moniker is when, towards the end of the teaser, a bunch of pencils are lined up and a new "4b" pencil is added to the mix.
Subsequently, a dedicated Nothing b series microsite has appeared under Flipkart's mobile section, which is another solid hint that it's the Phone b. The URL of this same microsite also contains "nothing-phone-2026", which further backs it all.
The Nothing Phone b could ultimately sit below the existing Phone 4a lineup as a more affordable offering. But why would Nothing introduce such a lineup in the first place?
Well, the current smartphone landscape is in turmoil due to the RAM crisis and smartphone makers are helplessly increasing phone prices. Nothing is no exception and it now has this void in the sub-Rs 35,000 segment, which it needs to fill meaningfully. Now, since the CMF Phone 3 Pro is officially cancelled, it only makes sense for the brand not to tarnish its sub-brand's image, but just launch a more justifiable Nothing phone.
However, we don't know anything about the upcoming Nothing Phone 4b. So, we'd have to wait it out a bit to see what the brand has in store for us. Since official teasers have already begun, we expect to hear a launch date soon.
