Nubia, a brand known for its gaming-focused Red Magic lineup and quirky flagship designs, has pulled back the curtain on the Nubia NaviX Ultra. The brand has unveiled it as the world's first true "AI powered smartphone, " which is built around an AI assistant that potentially acts on the user's behalf across the system.
Nubia NaviX Ultra Features Doubao AI and a Dedicated AI Button
The official Nubia Weibo account has revealed that the phone will utilise ZTE's mobile AI assistant, Doubao. Beyond that, Nubia hasn't said which AI features it enables, whether the phone runs Android, or whether it supports traditional Android apps. Even the full specs, pricing or availability details are under wraps for now.

However, Nubia has shown off the NaviX Ultra's design in images posted to Weibo. The phone features a display with unusually slim bezels and a centred punch-hole camera. We also see a metal frame, thanks to the antenna lines for giving that away.
And, like most other smartphones today, the phone will arrive with a dedicated orange AI button sitting alongside the standard volume and power controls. This button is presumably a shortcut to the phone's Doubao-powered agent features.

Around the back, the Nubia NaviX Ultra features a triple rear camera setup inside a horizontal camera bar, with an elongated LED flash underneath. Gives off a very Google Pixel and Apple iPhone Air feel, if you ask me. As for colour options, Nubia has confirmed that the NaviX Ultra will launch in Blue Horizon, Black, Dreamscape and White colourways.
Nubia also says that the NaviX Ultra has already received the 2026 SAIL (Super AI Leader) Award, ahead of what's expected to be a fuller reveal at WAIC (World Artificial Intelligence Conference) 2026, running from July 17 to July 20, 2026.
