Oakley Meta Specifications and Features
The Oakley Meta glasses will harness Meta's AI-based wearable tech and Oakley's signature HSTN (pronounced HOW-stuhn) design language to deliver a sporty, rugged and performance-oriented smart glass in the market. After the RayBan Stories and RayBan Meta, this will be the third smart wearable from the brand, albeit a sportier offering.

The Oakley Meta HSTN has 12 MP camera sensors embedded on the side of the eyewear with a 5-microphone array. And just like the RayBan Meta glasses, most of the hardware is packed inside the stems of the frame.
This will help athletes, who these glasses are targeted towards, to record POV shots during activities like running, hiking, biking, and so on. And in terms of the video quality, there is support for up to 3K video resolution.
And with built-in Bluetooth speakers, users will be able to listen to music and podcasts, take hands-free calls, and more. The glasses are compatible with Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more.
Meta claims up to 8 hours of battery life with the Oakley Meta smart glasses and up to 50% charge in just 20 minutes. It also comes with a charging case that can extend the battery life of the glasses by up to 48 hours.

Of course, just like on the RayBan Meta, there is Meta AI leading the show here with hands-free prompt-based actions. Users will be able to just ask questions like “Hey Meta, how strong is the wind today?” and get instant results.
Meta AI will also be able to perform actions like recording videos, taking and rejecting incoming calls, and more. Other than that, there are useful features like translation and reminders as well.
As is evident, the Oakley Meta glasses are made for outdoor use. Hence, an official IPX4 rating is also present on the glasses to protect them from sweat and occasional splashes.
Oakley Meta Pricing and Availability
The Oakley Meta HSTN glasses are limited edition and will be available to purchase for $499. However, the rest of the collection will go on sale for $399 (approximately Rs 34,500).

Additionally, Meta confirmed that they are working to bring the smart glasses to India, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates later this year.
