Joining the ranks of Xiaomi 15 and Google Pixel 9 today is a compact powerhouse like none other, and it's the OnePlus 13s. OnePlus has finally launched its 2025 compact flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13s, in India. Powered by Qualcomm's top-end chipset and a large battery, there's a lot more to it than meets the eye. So, let's check out the specs of the OnePlus 13s, along with its price and sale date.
OnePlus 13s Specifications and Features
The OnePlus 13s features a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTO AMOLED display. This is a 10-bit panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is also backed by Dolby Vision and 100% DCI-P3 coverage to let those colours come to life. The display also has narrow bezels, 800 nits of typical brightness, and up to 1,800 nits of high brightness.
You won't have to worry about breaking the display easily either, as OnePlus has used what it's calling Crystal Shield Glass protection. Additionally, there is support for Aqua Touch 2.0 and Glove Mode, which let you use the screen with sweaty hands and gloves. To make things immersive when viewing content, there are dual stereo speakers backed by ORealityAudio onboard.
Talking about the design, the OnePlus 13s features a polished design with a brushed aluminum chassis. The metal frame is coupled with a frosted back glass to enhance the device's premium feel. Thanks to its IP65 rating, you are also protected against minor water and dust damage.

Furthermore, the left side of the frame houses a brand new AI Plus Key, which replaces the fan-favourite Alert Slider. In function, it's similar to the Essential Key found on the Nothing Phone (3a) and can also be compared to the Action Button on the iPhone 15 series and later.
Weighing in at 185 grams, the OnePlus 13s is said to have a 50:50 balanced weight distribution, which makes it comfortable to hold and use with one hand. It's undoubtedly one of the lighter compact phones out there, given that both the Xiaomi 15 and Pixel 9 weigh over 190 grams.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The octa-core chipset can be paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. A 4,400mm² vapour chamber with a thin graphite sheet is also present onboard to deliver better thermals during gaming sessions.
The device runs on the latest Android 15-based OxygenOS 15, which is one of the best Android skins out there. OnePlus is committed to long-term support and promises four years of major OS updates and security patches. Beyond standard software features, the OnePlus 13s leans heavily into AI, offering a suite of intelligent functionalities. These include AI Detail Boost, AI Unblur, AI Translation, AI Search, and AI Call Assistant, among others.
A key software integration revolves around the new AI Plus Key. A single tap of this button summons the Mind Space, a feature akin to the Essential Space on Nothing's Phone (3a) series. Mind Space provides a centralized hub to effortlessly save and organize articles, photos, chats, and more. For quick information retrieval, users can also activate AI Search with a simple three-finger swipe down on the home screen.
Battery life is another major highlight of the OnePlus 13s. Thanks to Silicon Carbon technology, OnePlus has managed to pack a large 5,850mAh battery into the device. This is something that Samsung's latest Galaxy S25 Edge misses out on, limiting it to lower screen time even at moderate usage.
To complement the big battery, the OnePlus 13s boasts 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. The charger is bundled in the box, as always. The device also supports PD and Bypass Charging for versatile power management, though it does miss out on wireless charging.

The OnePlus 13s features a dual camera setup on the rear. This includes a primary 50 MP Sony LYT-700 wide-angle camera with Auto Focus and OIS support for stable and sharp shots. The secondary camera is a 50 MP Samsung JN5 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
For selfies and video calls, there's a 32 MP front camera with Auto Focus and EIS. On the video front, the front camera recording is capped at 4K @ 30 FPS, whereas the rear cameras can capture up to 4K @ 60 FPS videos.
Connectivity options on the OnePlus 13s include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an infrared port. It also has dual SIM support, a USB 2.0 Type-C port, and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
OnePlus 13s Price and Sale Date
The OnePlus 13s is priced at Rs 54,999 for the base 12 GB + 256 GB variant. Whereas, the 12 GB + 512 GB variant is priced at Rs 59,999. It comes in an India-exclusive Green Silk colour variant, along with the Pink Satin and Black Velvet colour options.
Additionally, OnePlus is offering an instant Rs 5,000 SBI Card discount for early-bird customers, bringing the effective price down to Rs 49,999 and Rs 54,999, respectively. Moreover, early-bird customers will also get the Nord Buds 3 for free.
Pre-bookings are now live via the official OnePlus India store and Amazon India website, and it will land on regular sales on June 12, 2025, at 12 noon.
If you do ask me, the price-to-specs ratio is near-perfect for the OnePlus 13s and it's a solid alternative in the compact smartphone market. Moreover, it will be interesting to see how the new Plus Key and Mind Space features prove to be useful in real life. Now, if you miss the alert slider a little too much, the OPPO Find X8 is still out there, albeit pricier.
