OnePlus' next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15, is already in the works. It is expected to arrive early in 2026. Ahead of that, a new report suggests a noticeable design shift for the brand's next flagship.
As per Digital Chat Station (DCS), OnePlus 15 will say goodbye to the signature circular camera module that debuted with the 2023 OnePlus flagship, the OnePlus 11. The leaker took to Weibo to share the news.

The device is expected to feature a rectangle-shaped camera island that will be positioned at the top left corner. It will have rounded edges to give it a more squircle look. If true, this will bring the design of the flagship OnePlus 15 on par with what we get on the OnePlus 13s (OnePlus 13T in China).
Although the reason for this new change is not clear as of now, it could be OnePlus's way of bringing a consistent design language across its flagship lineup. Hence, we can expect the upcoming OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R and the compact OnePlus 15s, all to launch with a unified design language.

Since DCS has not shared any images of the smartphone, it is difficult to imagine how it will look in person; however, the tipster claims to have seen an early prototype with this new design.
The new design on the OnePlus 15 will reportedly still feature flagship-grade lenses. It is expected to feature a triple 50 MP rear camera setup with a 50 MP periscope telephoto sensor. The OnePlus 13 has a 3x optical zoom lens, so we are expecting the OnePlus 15 to offer at least 5x optical zoom.
On the display front, the device is expected to make use of LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) technology paired with a 1.5K resolution flat panel. Since the OnePlus 13 came with a QHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display, we expect the resolution on the OnePlus 15 to be on par as well.

On the battery and charging front, DCS claims that the OnePlus 15 will support 100W wired fast charging. However, there is no mention of the battery capacity. We strongly believe that OnePlus will likely equip over 6,000mAh of battery capacity with the OnePlus 15.
With that said, since the OnePlus 15 leaks have just started pouring in, we do not have a lot of information. However, we expect more details to surface in the coming months, so stay tuned.
