With the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R out, the brand is all set to soon add the OnePlus 15T to the lineup. The brand has been slowly revealing new details for the upcoming smartphone and has already confirmed OnePlus 15T will feature the slimmest bezels on a small phone. Now, several key details like battery, cameras and more have also been officially revealed.
OnePlus 15T Confirmed To Bring 7,500mAh Battery and LUMO Imaging
OnePlus China President, Li Jei Loius, took to Weibo to share a brief summary of 10 key upgrades coming to the OnePlus 15T. The biggest amongst them, quite literally, is the battery capacity. At 7,500mAh, it is going to become the biggest battery ever inside a compact smartphone.

Recently, the iQOO 15R launched in India and it features a 7,600mAh battery with a 6.59-inch display. However, OnePlus still takes the crown since Louis has confirmed it is going to retain its 6.32-inch display just like the OnePlus 13T. This is an impressive engineering feat since the brand has managed to squeeze in an additional 1,240mAh capacity without changing the dimensions of the smartphone.
Along with the battery, OnePlus is also upgrading 15T's charging capabilities. It is confirmed to get 100W fast USB-C charging and 50W wireless charging. The OnePlus 13T lacked wireless charging and fans showed major disappointment with that. Now, with wireless charging coming to 15T, Louis has also confirmed the availability of a range of magnetic accessories for the phone, including covers and wireless chargers.

Moreover, OnePlus 15T will also feature improved imaging. It has been confirmed to feature Oppo's in-house LUMO Condensed Light Imaging system for the periscope telephoto camera. While it is unclear if the phone will get an ultra-wide angle camera or not, Louis says that the 15T's camera bump has signifcantly slimmed down.
Also, in a previous post, he revealed OnePlus 15T's slimmed-down display bezels. It is said to be barely 1.0 mm in thickness and could potentially become the thinnest bezel compact phone in the world. Aside from that, the phone is getting a comprehensive IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rating and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
All in all, it is clear that while OnePlus stepped into the compact phone game with the 13T, it is significantly stepping up the game with the OnePlus 15T. It is shaping up to be the poster child of what a true compact flagship should be. Hence, with an expected March 2026 launch timeline, we shall know more about the smartphone. It is first scheduled to go official in China and will very likely then arrive to India as the OnePlus 15s.
