Amidst the hype for the OnePlus 15 smartphone, OnePlus has today decided to silently make an affordable audio product live in India. The new half-in-ear wired earphones are for those who just want a reliable, easy on the pocket and a no-fuss audio experience.

The new wired earphone from OnePlus comes with a half in-ear design. What it means is that there are no silicone ear tips available with them. This might prove to be a dealbreaker for some as there are other brands who offer the facility at either the same price or in some cases even lower.
Also, this design choice might prove uncomfortable for some, especially during long listening sessions. They are exactly similar in design to the Apple EarPods which can cost an upward of Rs 1,599. Thankfully, the OnePlus wired earphones are nowhere near that expensive.
However, the earphones do make up with a Type-C connector instead of a 3.5mm one. This is a very thoughtful addition since almost every smartphone today lacks a headphone jack. Brands have even started removing it from phones under Rs 10,000 as well. So, it's good that the brand has taken care of that.
Apart from this, there is a 14.2mm dynamic driver coil inside the earphone, which features a microphone array with a physical switch for accepting/rejecting calls, playing/pausing music and digital audio decoding.
