Amidst rumoured uncertainties around its next generation of Nord series, OnePlus has officially started teasing the Nord 6 launch in India. The OnePlus Nord 6 is expected to be an upper mid-range phone that could offer great overall specifications at a relatively affordable price point, arriving with a bunch of upgrades over its predecessor.

OnePlus Nord 6 India launch is coming "soon"

OnePlus India recently took to X to drop the first official teaser for its upcoming smartphone with the caption "Entering the Nord era soon" and an image. The teaser image features an airport X-ray-style graphic of a travel bag. Inside sits a OnePlus Nord 6 highlighted by a teal colourway, which is the theme colour of the Nord series.

OnePlus Nord 6 Specifications and Price in India (Expected)

However, reliable tipster Yogesh Brar revealed a few key details about the Nord 6 a few days ago on X. According to his post, the OnePlus Nord 6 could launch in early April in 2026 and will be a rebranded OnePlus Turbo 6 that launched in China not too long ago.

Going by that, we can expect the Nord 6 to feature a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and a 6.78-inch 165Hz AMOLED display. The smartphone could feature the same 9,000mAh battery in India, anchored by 80W fast charging capabilities.

Brar also noted that the Nord 6 is expected to carry a higher price tag than its predecessor, potentially shifting it into a slightly more premium bracket due to the ongoing RAM crisis. For context, the OnePlus Nord 5 launched in India for Rs 31,999 and we could expect the starting price of the Nord 6 to be somewhere around Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000 this time around.

With the promotional campaign underway and the launch window narrowing to April 2026, we expect OnePlus to confirm the exact launch date very soon, so stay tuned.
