OnePlus is reportedly looking to launch the next Nord Buds TWS, the Nord Buds 3r in India soon. A new leak has given us a glimpse into the earbuds design and key specifications.
Tech publication Smartprix has exclusively revealed the design and core specifications of the yet-to-be-confirmed OnePlus Nord Buds 3r. The report claims a new design for the TWS as well as a substantial upgrade in terms of battery life.
Based on the alleged images of the TWS, it is clearly evident that the earbuds look different in comparison to the Nord Buds 2r which launched back in 2023. It features a stem-styled design with silicone eartips for a snug fit.

There is also a pill-shaped capacitive touch area at the top which will likely be used for playback and call controls. There are two microphones on each TWS indicating a dual microphone array. Apart from this, the bottom part of the stem has magnetic connectors to help charge the earbuds while inside the case.
Speaking of the case, it is squircle-shaped with rounded corners, sharp edges and a top lid. There is the OnePlus branding at the front alongside a charging cum pairing green indicator at the bottom. Both the case and the earbuds seem to bear a dark blue shade.

Now, coming to the specs, the Nord Buds 3r will reportedly feature 12.4mm titanium-coated drivers along with spatial audio support. As mentioned before, it is going to probably feature a dual microphone setup with AI-based noise cancellation.
In terms of connectivity, expect a dedicated gaming mode with 47 ms low latency and Bluetooth 5.4 support. Lastly, the earbuds are expected to offer up to 54 hours of continuous playback time along with fast charging support made possible via a USB-C port.
With that said, since nothing is official yet, we urge you to take this OnePlus Nord Buds 3r update with a pinch of salt. We expect the earbuds to launch sometime in 2025 as a budget offering from the brand. So, expect it to land under the Rs 2,500 mark.
