The leaker also took a deeper dive, revealing the Arm Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. Taking all of it into account, this processor seems to be the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC. The listing also reveals this variant of the Nord CE 5 being paired with 8 GB of RAM and running on Android 15.
This is in line with a previous rumor that speculated an 8,000 series MediaTek chipset for the Nord CE 5. Apart from this, not much is officially known about the device at this point. However, going by leaks, we can draw a couple of expectations.
For starters, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 might feature a 6.78-inch 120 Hz OLED display which is very similar to last year's Nord CE 4. Moreover, we can also expect to see a massive 7,100mAh battery. However, leaks suggest a downgraded 80W wired charging capacity compared to the 100W offered by the Nord CE 4.
Other than that, the camera on the Nord CE 5 is not likely to receive any major upgrades. It is said to feature the same 50 MP Sony LYT600/IMX882 main sensor.
To recall, last year's Nord CE 4 launched with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and retailed for Rs 24,999. So, we can expect it to be priced similarly.
Although we are not aware of the official launch date, leaks suggest a possible July 8, 2025, India launch. With that said, expect an official confirmation from the brand anytime soon.
