Following months of intense speculation and rumours, it has been confirmed that OnePlus is officially shutting down its operations across the United States and Europe. The brand will be pivoting its resources to focus on other markets like India, streamlining its software pipeline around the upcoming release of ColorOS 17.
OnePlus Exits the US and Europe
OnePlus has announced via an official community post that the brand will not be launching any new products in the North American and European regions as part of a "proactive global strategy adjustment".

Existing OnePlus owners don't need to panic, as the company has assured users that current devices will continue to receive updates and support throughout their life cycles.
Backed by OPPO, the brand confirmed that existing OnePlus phones will receive all scheduled software updates and security patches within their originally committed support periods.
Besides, customer service channels will also remain open, and standard warranty obligations will be honoured. Alongside the regional departure, supported devices will be moving to ColorOS to "streamline" software development and provide faster updates.
As part of this operational adjustment, users with eligible devices will have the option to update to ColorOS 17 based on Android 17 features when it goes live globally.
Besides the global exit, OnePlus has dismantled rumours about its potential exit from markets such as India. In a recent community post, the brand said it is committed to launching new products in India and has a very "exciting roadmap" ahead. More information about the same should be revealed as time progresses, so stay tuned.
