Earlier this month, OnePlus released a surprise update to a host of smartphones, including legacy smartphones running OxygenOS 13, 14 and 15. The brand has now put out the OxygenOS FAQ April 2026, answering questions on the ongoing bug fixes and deployment timelines for the software versions, alongside guides for enabling new OS features.
OnePlus Highlights OxygenOS B60P01 Rollout Status
For those unaware, the OxygenOS B60P01 update started seeding to users on April 8, 2026 and was expected to roll out to all the supported smartphones by April 30, 2026. The update is geared toward under-the-hood optimisations, promising better system stability.

As for the published OxygenOS FAQ of April 2026 itself, it addresses a few issues impacting the camera experience. Fortunately, OnePlus has patched the bug where using a screen-off gesture or shortcut to launch the camera would fail to wake the display.
The brand advises users to update to the latest version to resolve this. Besides, for those who haven't received the update yet, manually pressing the power button will temporarily bypass the glitch.
There's a separate issue involving screen flickering during video recording, which also remains unresolved. OnePlus has confirmed that the developer team is looking into the problem, but no official timeline has been provided for the fix.
The OxygenOS April 2026 FAQ also highlights real-time sports tracking via Live Alerts, a feature taken from a recent update to the Google App. The feature can be enabled by going to Settings > Notifications > Live Alerts and enabling the Sports from Google option.

Besides, OnePlus also details that its new Content Portal allows for a seamless drag-and-drop sharing of text, images and other media. It can be toggled from Settings > Accessibility > Content Portal.

Lastly, there's a feature for the Thai audience where, to celebrate local festivals, users can apply a special Songkran watermark to their images. The feature requires OxygenOS version 13.0.1 or higher and Photos App version 15.75.0 or higher, and will remain active only until April 30, 2026.
