The OnePlus Pad 3 has launched in India today, on June 5, 2025, alongside the company's compact flagship phone, the OnePlus 13s. This tablet is a successor to the OnePlus Pad 2 from last year and features Qualcomm's greatest and latest chipset, a massive display, a monster battery and more.
OnePlus Pad 3 Specifications and Features
At the heart of the OnePlus Pad 3's appeal is its stunning 13.2-inch LCD panel, essentially making it a tablet computer of sorts. This isn't just big, but also the finest display we've witnessed on a OnePlus tablet. The panel packs a crisp 3.4K resolution, pushing an impressive 315 pixels per inch (PPI), all rendered with a 12-bit colour depth. However, it shares its predecessor's peak brightness of 600 nits (900 nits in High Brightness Mode) and 144Hz refresh rate.
The Pad 3's unique 7:5 screen ratio offers a more expansive vertical view compared to traditional 16:10 tablets, perfect for multitasking and reading. Meanwhile, its 89.3% screen-to-body ratio ensures an immersive, edge-to-edge experience, keeping bezels to a minimum.
To complete your entertainment needs, the Pad 3 moves beyond the six-speaker setup of the OnePlus Pad 2 and boasts an impressive eight-speaker system. This new iteration features four woofers and four tweeters. Moreover, there are two microphones to make use of during calls.
Now, despite the massive display, the tablet measures 5.97 mm in thickness. However, due to its large footprint and larger battery, it weighs around 675 grams. For reference, the 13-inch iPad Pro tips the scales at a noticeably lighter 580 grams, which brings it closer to the 12-inch OnePlus Pad 2's weight.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite powers the OnePlus Pad 3, making it the first tablet to use Qualcomm's flagship chipset. This octa-core chipset can be paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage or 16 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, respectively. Do note that the 12 GB variant features LPDDR5X RAM, which is around 13% slower than the newer LPDDR5T standard.
Talking about software, the tablet runs on Android 15-based OxygenOS15 out of the box. OnePlus has injected a healthy dose of AI features into the tablet, thanks to the Gemini-powered OnePlus AI. From Circle to Search to AI translation, summary, and more, there's a lot to use here.
Most importantly, using the Multi-Screen Connect, you can go beyond using the OnePlus Pad 3 as just a standalone device to more of a central hub. If you have a OnePlus phone, you can use the feature to sync videos and images, receive notifications and even share your clipboard with the tablet. The integration doesn't stop there though.
Apple ecosystem users can also make use of a Mac control feature of sorts, which will let them drag-and-drop files between the tablet and their Macs. Additionally, such users can also make use of native Mac gestures for enhanced productivity.
Since tablets are not known for their photographic prowess, the respectable 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP selfie shooter on the Pad 3 get my nod of approval. The rear camera can also shoot at up to 4K 30FPS and supports EIS.
The OnePlus Pad 3 is powered by a massive 12,140mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. You can make use of the Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 1 port for charging and data transfer purposes. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7.
OnePlus Pad 3 Accessories
OnePlus also offers a suite of optional accessories to enhance productivity and creativity. The 3rd-Gen OnePlus Pad Keyboard, for starters, transforms the tablet into a laptop-like experience, perfect for typing documents and emails.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Stylo 2 stylus lets you bring out that artist in you and carry out precise note-taking as well. This puts it in direct competition with the Apple Pencil for the iPad and the S Pen for the Galaxy Tab S series.
OnePlus Pad 3 Price and Sale Date
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the pricing and availability details of the OnePlus Pad 3 are still under wraps. Users can expect the tablet to be priced at somewhere between Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000. We will update this post once OnePlus shares more information.
From the looks of it, the OnePlus Pad 3 is an absolute productivity monster that combines raw power with top-tier hardware and interconnected features to bring the best possible Android tablet experience.
