OpenAI's ChatGPT service is facing a global outage today, June 10, 2025, and it's currently offline across its website and the official app. Over thousands of users are currently affected as they're unable to access the AI chatbot or its related services.
As per Downdetector, reports started popping up on June 10, 2025 at around 12:30 PM IST with three major spikes, indicating the widespread outage of ChatGPT. In India, the AI service appears to have gone down at around 2:30 PM, peaking for close to an hour before going down.
OpenAI has acknowledged that ChatGPT is facing problems in its Status page.

The Status page lists the components ChatGPT that are currently facing outage. This includes the web client, Android and iOS app, DALL-E, search, file upload, conversations, WhatsApp support, and other modules. Besides these, some of OpenAI's APIs and Sora components are also affected.
