Oppo has launched a new smartphone in China today, on August 30, 2025 – the Oppo A6 Max. Packing a massive 7,000mAh battery and a triple IP rating, it follows the recent trend of phones in the segment. With that said, here's a quick rundown of the phone's specifications, China pricing and other details. 

Oppo A6 Max Specifications and Features

The key highlight of the Oppo A6 Max is its battery capacity. So, let's start with that. Oppo has managed to squeeze in a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 80W USB-C fast charging within the device. The brand claims that users can charge the device up to 50% in less than 30 minutes.

This is particularly impressive since the smartphone is only 7.7mm thick and weighs only 198 grams. The chassis is also home to a 6.8-inch 1.5K 120 Hz OLED panel with up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness and wet hand touch support. 

The display is further protected by Oppo's in-house Crystal Shield Glass. Speaking of safety, A6 Max is also backed by an official IP66 + IP68 +IP69 rating.

Talking about its performance, the device is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processor. It is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. There is also a 5,200mm² vapour chamber cooling module to manage the device's heat.

Coming to the optics, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP monochrome lens. It also brings a 32 MP selfie shooter to the table.

Apart from this, the A6 Max comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, dual-band GPS, Beidou satellite communication, NFC and more.

The Oppo A6 Max has landed for 1,599 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 20,000) for the sole 8 GB + 256 GB model. The device is reportedly already up for sale in the country in Streamer White and Rock Mist Blue colour options. However, we checked out the official Oppo China website and the product page is not live yet. Chances are, it could be an offline-only device.

As for its launch in India, leaks suggest it will arrive as the Oppo F31 Pro+ in the country with some minor changes to its specs. Besides, thanks to leaked renders of the Oppo F31 series, we know how the upcoming devices will look. Now, it's all about waiting it out for the brand to officially start teasing the devices for India.
