Oppo A6 Pro with Military-Grade Durability and 7,000mAh Battery Launched in China

Oppo has launched its mid-range smartphone, the A6 Pro, in China today, on September 9, 2025. The A5 Pro successor joins the league of big battery phones with a 7,000mAh unit, the Dimensity 7300 chipset and more. Here's all you need to know about the specs, pricing and availability of the device. 

Oppo A6 Pro Specifications and Features

Oppo's latest mid-ranger features a 6.57-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2372 x 1080 pixels. This panel flaunts a peak brightness of 1,400 nits and offers up to 2,160 Hz of PWM dimming and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. 

The screen is packed in an aviation-grade alloy frame that promises solid durability. Additionally, the phone is backed by triple IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings, which brings forth six years of durability promise. The Oppo A6 Pro is also said to be drop-resistant, thanks to MIL-STD-810H Military-grade durability. It's still light at 190 grams and slim with a thickness of 7.96mm. 

Despite being slim and light, the phone packs a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which is coupled with up to 16 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front, the device runs on Android 15-based ColorOS 15 right out of the box. 

In terms of optics, the Oppo A6 Pro sports a 50 MP primary rear camera with a 2 MP secondary depth lens. At the front, there's a 16 MP shooter for selfies. 

Connectivity options are adequate as well, with Dual SIM, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and GPS. It also flaunts stereo speakers backed by Hi-Res audio. 

Oppo A6 Pro Price in China and Availability

The A6 Pro starts at 1,799 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 22,500) for the base 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant. It goes all the way up to 2,499 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 31,000) for the top-tier 16 GB + 512 GB variant. The phone also comes in the 12 GB + 256 GB and 16 GB + 256 GB configurations.

In terms of colourways, the device can be purchased in the Blue, Black Jade and Gold options. As for availability, the phone is up for pre-ordering on the official Oppo China store and will go on sale starting September 12, 2025.  

In India, the device is expected to launch as the Oppo F31 Pro as part of the Oppo F31 series, scheduled to launch on September 15, 2025.
