Oppo has silently listed two new smartphones on their China website – the Oppo A6i+ 5G and Oppo A6V 5G. Both phones are part of the ever-expansive "Oppo A6" family and bring a big and fast LCD display, a 50 MP main camera and a capable MediaTek processor.
Oppo A6i+ 5G and Oppo A6v 5G Specifications and Features
The newly launched Oppo A6i+ 5G and Oppo A6V 5G share almost identical specs across the board, except for the battery and the selfie camera. For instance, both feature the same 6.75-inch flat LCD panel with an HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display is rated for 100% sRGB coverage and can go up to 1,125 nits of high brightness.
Under the hood, both phones get the mid-range Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. They also support up to 1 TB micro-SD card expansion and up to 8 GB of virtual RAM expansion. Software-wise, they ship with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.
In terms of cameras, Oppo A6i+ 5G and Oppo A6v 5G bear the exact rear setup. Both bring a 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP monochrome lens fitted with an f/2.4 aperture. However, they differ when it comes to the selfie camera.
Oppo A6i+ 5G gains an 8 MP front-facing camera, while the Oppo A6V 5G settles for a 5 MP shooter. Both phones can still shoot 1080p videos @ 60 FPS.
Battery is another area where the phones differ significantly. While there is a 7,000mAh capacity cell inside the Oppo A6i+ 5G, the Oppo A6V 5G gets a 6,500mAh capacity. Both still support 45W fast USB-C charging.
Other than that, both are IP64 rated and come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a single bottom-firing speaker. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM support, GPS and USB-C 2.0 port.
As for their pricing and availability, Oppo A6i+ 5G starts in China from 1,499 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 19,500) for the 8 GB + 256 GB model. Meanwhile, the Oppo A6V 5G has only a single 8 GB + 256 GB option available and it costs 1,199 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 16,000).
