Oppo has silently launched a new pair of TWS earbuds in China, the Oppo Enco Air 5 Pro. These are the latest generation of in-ear Enco TWS and bring several improvements over its predecessor, like new bass-enhanced drivers, improved Active Noise Cancellation and increased playback time.
Oppo Enco Air 5 Pro Specifications and Features
Right out of the box, the earbuds arrive with medium silicone eartips pre-installed, with small and large eartips inside the packaging case. With the charging case, the earbuds are said to weigh only 43 grams, with each earbud being only 4.4 grams.
Inside, the earbuds pack 12 mm dynamic bass-enhanced audio drivers with 20 kHz to 40 kHz hearing frequency range support. The earbuds also get Enco Master Equaliser support and OPPO Alive Audio algorithms for a rich bass and clear vocals experience.
The earbuds also feature improved 55dB Active Noise Cancellation with up to 5,000 Hz noise reduction frequency range. Moreover, the earbuds also come with triple AI noise-cancelling microphones for enhanced clarity in calls. Additionally, the earbuds also offer real-time AI Translation with a "simple tap" gesture.
Battery-wise, the Enco Air 5 Pro are rated to last for up to 54 hours on a single charge, including the case. This is thanks to the 62mAh battery inside each earbud and a 530mAh cell inside the charging case. It also comes with fast USB-C charging support, where 10 minutes of charge can offer up top 4 hours of uninterrupted usage.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 6.0, dual device pairing, Google Fast Pair support, Microsoft Swift Pair, Find My Earbuds and 47 m/s low latency support. Oppo Enco Air 5 Pro are also IP54 rated for enhanced water and dust protection.
Lastly, talking about pricing and availability, the all-new Oppo TWS earbuds cost 329 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 4,500). It comes in Moonstone White and Midnight Black colourways and is currently up for pre-order.
Since the Oppo Enco Buds 3 Pro+ launched in India as well last year, we can expect the brand to launch the Enco Air 5 Pro in the country as well.
