Oppo F31 5G Series with 7,000mAh Battery Launched in India, Starts at Rs 22,999

After weeks of teasers, Oppo has finally introduced the F31 5G series in India. The new "F" lineup brings the standard F31 5G, the F31 Pro 5G and the F31 Pro+ 5G. All three smartphones feature standout specs like a 7,000mAh battery, triple IP rating and more. Here is a detailed specification, pricing and availability information breakdown of the smartphones.

Oppo F31 Pro and F31 Pro+ Specifications and Features

Kicking things off with the Pro models, it brings the Oppo F31 Pro 5G and the Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G smartphones. Both smartphones bring a Full HD+ 120 Hz flat 10-bit AMOLED display with 100% DCI-P3 and sRGB coverage and AGC DT-Star D+ screen protection.

The difference lies in the screen size and high brightness values where the F31 Pro brings a 6.5-inch screen with 1,400 nits high brightness. Meanwhile, the F31 Pro+ gets a 6.7-inch display with up to 1,600 nits of high brightness value.

Both phones also look different from the back, with the F31 Pro getting a centre-aligned squircle dual camera island and the F31 Pro+ bringing a circular dual camera module. The Pro model is even on the thicker side with a 8mm chassis compared to the 7.7mm mid-frame on the Pro+ model. However, the Pro+ is heavier at 204 grams compared to 190 grams on the F31 Pro.

Speaking of cameras, both models sport an identical setup with a 50 MP OV50D40 main f/1.8 sensor and a 2 MP Galaxy Core 02M1B monochrome lens. At the front, there is a 32 MP Galaxy Core 32E2 selfie shooter on both devices. In terms of video recording capability, the Pro and Pro+ variants can shoot up to 4K @ 30 FPS OIS-backed videos.

Another area where the F31 Pro and the F31 Pro+ are similar is in the battery department. Both phones bear a 7,000mAh cell with support for 80W fast USB-C charging. The devices also bring 13.5W PD, 33W PPS and 13.5W QC charging protocols.

Now coming to performance, the F31 Pro brings the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset to the table. The F31 Pro+ on the other hand, is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Both phones feature up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Oppo has also added a large vapour chamber cooling module inside the smartphones to manage their thermal performance. The F31 Pro gets a 4,363 mm2 unit while the F31 Pro+ brings a 5,219 mm2 chamber.

Additionally, both the F31 Pro series smartphones ship with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. It brings several useful features like the Anti-Theft Detector Oppo Lock, the Anti-Spam Call Blocker Oppo Dialer and more. The devices also gain several AI features like AI VoiceScribe, AI Call Assistant and more.

Moreover, both smartphones are also durable from the outside. There is an official IP66 + IP68 + IP69 triple water and dust protection rating for the smartphones along with a 360° Armour Body.

Oppo F31 5G Specifications and Features

Now, coming to the standard Oppo F31 5G, it features a 6.57-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display with 2160Hz PWM Dimming frequency and up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness.

Just like the Pro models, the F31 is also protected by the AGC DT-Star D+ screen protection. It also features the triple IP66 + IP68 + IP69 rating with a MIL-STD-810H military grade certification.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Energy processor. It can be paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The smartphone ships with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. It has also managed to equip a 7,000mAh battery underneath with support for 80W USB-C charging.

Oppo has also added a dual rear camera setup to the standard F31. It houses a 50 MP OV50D40 main camera with a 2 MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is a 16 MP Sony IMX480 f/2.4 unit.

The standard Oppo F31 5G is available to pre-order from Amazon and will go on sale on September 27, 2025. Meanwhile, the F31 Pro and the F31 Pro+ are listed on the official Oppo e-store and will be on sale starting September 25, 2025.
