Earlier last week, Oppo confirmed the launch of its next budget 'K' series device, the K13x 5G, in India. And today, the brand has officially taken the wraps off the phone's India launch date.
The Oppo K13x 5G will launch in India on June 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST in Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach colourways. The now-live Flipkart microsite also indicates its availability via the e-commerce platform. Additionally, we get a glimpse into the core specifications of the device.
Since the selling point of the device revolves around its durability, let's start with that. The Oppo K13x will feature the MIL-STD 810H durability rating alongside an IP65 rating. Besides, to make it easier to operate under the weather, the device will bring Oppo's rainwater touch tech alongside a dedicated Glove Mode. It will most likely feature a toughened plastic back with a plastic mid-frame.
Housed within this build is said to be a 6.67-inch display which is now confirmed to feature a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. There will also be bottom-firing mono speakers to tend to entertainment needs.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Another key highlight of the device will be its 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging. The device will also be backed by Oppo's custom Trinity Engine tech for smart power management.
In the camera department, expect to see a dual-camera rear setup with a 50 MP primary camera sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front will get an 8 MP selfie shooter. Oppo has highlighted AI-supported features like AI Erase, AI Clarity, and AI Unblur for the cameras.
These AI features will ship with Oppo's ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. Oppo is also guaranteeing 36 months of uninterrupted support for the device. This most likely indicates that the device will receive 2 years of major OS updates and 3 years of security patches. For security, the phone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
As for pricing, one can expect the Oppo K13x to launch somewhere around or under Rs 15,000 in India, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet. However, since the launch date is near, we won't have to wait long to find out.
