Last week, Oppo started teasing the launch of a new "K" series smartphone in India. And today, the Chinese smartphone brand has revealed that the upcoming device is none other than the Oppo K13x 5G.
Launching as a successor to last year's K12x, the Oppo K13x will be available via Flipkart. The now live microsite on the e-commerce platform offers an early look at the device, revealing its Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach colourways.

The K13x 5G will feature a dual vertical camera setup within a rectangular housing, and its back panel appears to be made out of plastic. Notably, the Sunset Peach variant will have a subtle 'wave pattern.'
Additionally, a separate teaser with the tagline "Toughest to the Core, Ready for the Extremes" reveals that durability will be one of the key selling points for the device. For reference, the Oppo K12x arrived with MIL-810H and IP54 ratings. So, one can expect the K13x to take it up a notch in this department.
Not much is known about the device at this point. However, as per leaks, here's what we can expect from the device in terms of specifications:
- MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC
- 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM + 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage
- 6,820mAh battery
- 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate
- 50 MP primary rear camera sensor
As for pricing, one can expect the Oppo K13x to launch somewhere around or under Rs 15,000 in India.
With that being said, nothing is official yet so take this information with a grain of salt. However, expect to hear more from the brand in the coming days.
