The Oppo K15 Pro has launched in China alongside the higher-end Oppo K15 Pro+ as a performance-centric smartphone powered by the Dimensity 8500 processor. It also packs battery life for the ages, features a sharp 6.59-inch OLED display and other impressive on-paper specifications, at a rather economical price point.

Oppo K15 Pro specifications and features

The Oppo K15 Pro features a more compact 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display in comparison to the K15 Pro+'s 6.78-inch panel. It also offers a slightly slower 144 Hz refresh rate instead of 165 Hz and a lower peak brightness of 1,200 nits.

The display is complemented by an ultra-sensor dual stereo speaker setup, which is co-tuned by Oppo's Golden Ear Lab and the Xinghai Conservatory of Music.

Under the hood, the Oppo K15 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8500 processor, which is also a slight downgrade in performance as compared to the Dimensity 9500s chipset powering the Pro+ model. However, it also pairs up with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, although storage configuration is downgraded to UFS 3.1, from UFS 4.1.

To help gamers make the most of it, the Oppo K15 Pro arrives with a built-in professional-grade gyroscope for enhanced accuracy. On the software front, the phone runs on ColorOS 16 out of the box.

Camera setup remains the same, with the K15 Pro sporting a 50 MP main camera with an 8 MP ultra-wide and up to 4K @ 60 FPS video recording. At the front, there's the same 16 MP selfie shooter as well.

The Oppo K15 Pro packs a massive 7,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging. This is a downgrade from the 8,000mAh + 100W combo on the Oppo K15 Pro+. However, somehow, the K15 Pro is thicker at 8.3mm in comparison to the K15 Pro+'s 8.25mm thickness. But the phone is more lightweight at 202 grams. However, just like its more expensive cousin, the standard Pro flaunts an IP69 rating.

Additionally, the regular Pro model uses an optical fingerprint sensor for security instead of the Pro+'s Ultrasonic sensor. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC.

Oppo K15 Pro price and availability

The Oppo K15 Pro starts at 2,999 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 40,500) for the base 12 GB + 256 GB variant. However, it also comes in the 12 GB + 256 GB Standard and 12 GB + 512 GB Standard variants.

As for availability, both the Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ are currently limited to China and will go on sale in region from April 3, 2026.
