Following last year's launch of the k13 Turbo series in China, Oppo is prepping its successor. Skipping the K14 Pro series, the brand has finally started teasing its K15 lineup, which could include the Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+. Subsequently, the brand has also revealed the launch dates of these phones.
Oppo K15 Pro Series Coming Soon
Oppo's official Weibo account posted a trailer of the Oppo K15 Pro series, briefly revealing its design. Besides, the post also reveals the launch date of the phones, which are set to launch in China on April 1, 2026.

We can deduce from the teaser that Oppo is pretty much dropping the Turbo moniker while still keeping the elements of what made the K13 Turbo popular, i.e., an Active Cooling fan. This helped the K13 Turbo series to deliver greater sustained peak performance during extended gaming sessions without overheating.
While the teaser doesn't reveal any specifications, recent TENAA certification leaks suggest the Oppo K15 Pro+ will sport a 1.5K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC. It's expected to be paired with an 8,000mAh battery.

Optics-wise, the smartphone could feature a 50 MP primary snapper, an 8 MP ultrawide unit, alongside a 16 MP front selfie shooter. The standard Oppo K15 Pro will feature a smaller 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and will feature the Dimensity 8500 chipset.
It will retain the exact camera specifications as the Pro+ model, with a slightly smaller 7,500mAh battery. Both smartphones are expected to measure surprisingly thin at an expected 8.3mm thickness and 200 grams weight for the standard model. Although the teasers point to a China-only launch at the moment, the phones could eventually make their way to the Indian market later down the line.
With just five days to go until launch, more details about the smartphones and their specifications should surface as we inch closer to the launch, so stay tuned.
