Oppo has started teasing a new K-series smartphone in India, with the "Get ready for the Next K" tagline. Looks like the brand is fast-tracking its Oppo K series as the new phone is seemingly launching months ahead of the usual cycle.
Oppo K series phone teased to launch in India soon
A dedicated Flipkart microsite has gone live on the mobile app, hinting at the launch of a mystery Oppo K-series phone in India. While nothing can be said for sure, it looks like we are looking at a member of the upcoming Oppo K14 lineup. However, there is also a possibility for the brand to skip the 14 series entirely and give us the K15.
This is an interesting development since the Oppo K13 went official in the month of April last year. It was the first phone of the K13 lineup. Hence, the next K series phone is almost four months ahead of time.
At the time of writing, it is hard to determine if this is going to become the Oppo K14. Based on the teased design, it follows the Oppo K13 Turbo series route with its vertical pill-shaped dual-camera deco and flat frame. That said, since Oppo has begun teasing the new phone, we should hear more concrete details in the coming days.
