After launching three wearables since its inception, the recent one being a smart ring, Pebble is back with a new smartwatch. This time, it's a modern reboot of the classic and popular Pebble Time Round smartwatch. It features the same low-power coloured e-ink display as its rectangular cousin, the Time 2.
Pebble Round 2 specifications and features
Pebble's founder, Erik Migicovsky, took over the brand's official blog page to announce the Pebble Round 2. Priced at $199, the smartwatch features a round 1.3-inch 260 x 260 pixels colour e-paper touchscreen display with a backlight.

It's essentially the Pebble Time 2 but without heart rate monitoring and a round dial shape. It features the same 14-day battery life, step tracking, sleep tracking and 30 meters of water resistance. The Round 2 smartwatch also features dual microphones for speech input and a stainless steel frame.
The watch runs on the open-source Pebble OS, giving users access to a vast library of community-made watch faces and apps. Basic health features are handled by an onboard accelerometer.
Although not quite as slim as the original Round 2's 7.5 mm thickness, the new one is still quite slim, measuring just 8.1 mm in thickness. There are four buttons on the chassis to control and navigate through the UI of the watch.

The Pebble Round 2 supports 20 mm bands, and the smartwatch itself is available in three finishes – Matte Black, Silver and Rose Gold. To reiterate, the smartwatch costs $199 (approximately Rs 18,000) and starts shipping in May 2026. It also ships to India.
Besides, the brand is also allowing customers who previously ordered the Pebble Time 2 to switch their purchase to the new Round 2 if they prefer the circular design. The smartwatch works on both Android and iOS, and you can pre-order one on Pebble's official website.
