Poco has finally confirmed the official launch date of its upcoming smartphone – the Poco F7. While the brand's microsite on Flipkart still hasn't been updated to reflect the same, the firm took over Instagram to announce the arrival of the device.
Earlier today, Poco posted a poster of the Poco F7 on its Instagram handle revealing the launch date and time, i.e., June 24, 2025 at 5:30 PM IST. The poster also shows actor Akshay Kumar holding the device horizontally, revealing the cyber-esque design language. The poster's punchline is “All power. No BS,” suggesting the Poco F7 could boast great performance in its segment.
For those unaware, the Poco F7 is rumoured to arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and is officially confirmed to be powered by a 7,550 mAh SiC battery with 90W fast charging. Poco has also marketed the phone's reverse charging technology, capable of delivering 22.5W to other devices.
As for the other specifications, the device could boast a 6.83-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display with 3,200 nits of peak brightness. It could also feature up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage. Software-wise, the phone is expected to arrive with HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15.
The dual-rear cameras are expected to be a 50 MP wide shooter with OIS and an 8 MP ultrawide, while the selfie camera could be a 20 MP snapper. Miscellaneous features include an IP68 water resistance rating, an under-display optical fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers. It's also expected to arrive with NFC and an IR blaster.
The phone could arrive in three colours – Black, White and Silver. With the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, it's expected to compete with the likes of iQoo Neo 10. The pricing of the Poco F7 is still unknown, but considering it's expected to be a “flagship killer” we expect it to cost under Rs 35,000.
