While rumours did hint at Realme adding a more economical 15T smartphone to its 15 series in India, we didn't have concrete details. Well, the brand is finally going official with it and has confirmed to launch the Realme 15T in India on September 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST.
Realme took to its official X handle to break the news. Meanwhile, a dedicated Flipkart microsite for the device is now live, revealing several of its key specifications.

Very recently, promo materials of the Realme 15T showed the brand marketing it as a "small iPhone". However, we see nothing of that sort on the Flipkart microsite (yet). However, we do get confirmation that the device will indeed arrive with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. It certainly is more compact than its elder siblings, the Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro.

The smartphone is also said to be 7.79mm thick and weigh 181 grams, all while packing a 7,000mAh battery. It's good to see the 15T retain the big battery capacity of the other Realme 15 series phones.
Apart from that, we also get a good look at the design of the smartphone, which falls in line with leaked images. It doesn't look all that different from its predecessor, the Realme 14T. The back panel of the device is said to be matte finished with micro textures and a 4R design.
The device has also been confirmed to arrive in the Silk Blue, Suit Titanium and Flowing Silver colour options. There seems to be focus on durabilty as well, with the device flaunting an IP69 rating.

Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max 5G chipset has been confirmed to power the device. On the software front, the device will run on Android 15-based Realme UI 6 right out of the box. The brand is also promising three years of major OS updates and four years of security patches. The Realme 15T will also flaunt the Mini Capsule feature, which is Realme's iteration of Apple's Dynamic Island.

Realme has spilled the beans on the camera details of the device as well, with a 50 MP primary rear lens driving the setup. At the front, the device will flaunt a 50 MP selfie shooter. Besides, just like its elder siblings, the Realme 15T also gets the AI Edit Genie feature, which brings conversational AI image editing to the device.
The brand has also confirmed that the Realme 15T will be priced under Rs 20,000 in India. With the launch date not even a week away, thankfully, we won't have to wait for long to confirm all the details.
