Realme is preparing to launch a new budget smartphone in India, the Realme C100i. The phone will be positioned below the Realme C100x and could be priced well under Rs 15,000.
The official Realme India website has confirmed that the Realme C100i will launch in India on August 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. The phone will go on sale the very same day via Flipkart and will feature a 6,5000mAh battery and a 120 Hz display.
Realme has also revealed the back design of the phone with dual rear cameras and an extended camera plateau like the iPhone 17 Pro. The smartphone will launch in black and silver colour options. Realme has not revealed its marketing names yet.
Aside from that, no other detail has been shared officially at the moment. The Realme C100i has already launched in markets like Bangladesh and Indonesia. However, it doesn't seem like that phone is being rebranded for India.
Not only the design of the Indian and global units are different, the battery capacity is also different between the Realme C100i in India and its Indonesian counterpart. Hence, at the time of writing, we can't say for sure what other specs the Realme C100i in India will offer.
The phone could bring a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display, the Unisoc T7250 processor, an 8 MP main camera and more. Realme C100i could be priced under Rs 15,000, below the Realme C100x. We will know for sure when the phone launches in two days. So, stay tuned.
