Realme C83 5G has launched in India as the brand's latest budget 5G phone powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity chipset. The phone also packs a massive battery, big 144 Hz display and cameras to get by, all while being priced under Rs 15,000.

Realme C83 5G Specifications and Features

The Realme C83 5G features a big 6.8-inch HD+ (1570 x 720 pixels) display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and an HBM of 900 nits. This panel is placed on an 8.4mm thick body that weighs about 212 grams. Most of this heft is coming from the massive 7,000mAh battery inside, which comes with support for 15W fast charging.

Realme is also ensuring that the phone is durable enough to get past daily wear and tear with an IP64 rating and solid MIL-STD-810H certification. 

Under the hood, the Realme C83 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, which is expandable up to 2 TB via a microSD card slot. 

On the software front, the Realme C83 5G runs on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 right out of the box, with the brand promising 4 years of smoothness.

For photos and videos, the budget phone utilises a 13 MP primary rear camera with a 5 MP selfie shooter at the front. 

Realme has thrown in an AI Outdoor Mode, which boosts the speaker volume, display brightness and overall system performance when on the go.

Connectivity options are adequate and include 9 5G bands, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), GPS, GLONASS and Bluetooth 5.3.
