Realme's Chill Fan Phone Concept Teased with a Built-in "AC"

Realme is maintaining its custom to reveal concept tech and smartphones at its annual 828 Fan Festival 2025. While we are still a few days away from the actual event, Realme has started teasing some of the devices that will be unveiled. One such is a smartphone which has a literal "AC" built inside.

The Realme Global handle on X posted a short 32-second clip showcasing a smartphone with a built-in cooling system. The device is supposedly "the world’s first “AC” phone". It is also named as the realme Chill Fan Phone.

The embedded video demonstrates Chase Xu, Realme vice president using a slit-vent design located at the lower-bottom half of the side frame to blow cool air to a person. He also used the air coming out to move a rubber duck on water, blow out a candle and ruffle the feathers of a cat.

This clearly indicates that the outgoing airflow is not only strong but also cold to feel. He claims that this mechanism is built to emulate the functioning of a real-life Air Conditioner. It can lower the core smartphone temperature by up to 6° Celsius while gaming.

This new integrated cooling system design is reminiscent of the Oppo K13 Turbo and the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro smartphones which launched in India a few weeks back with a built-in cooling fan.

The Realme Chill Fan Phone mechanics seem to be an upgrade over that system. Apart from this, Realme has not mentioned any of the other details of the smartphone. The design of the smartphone from what we could gather, resembles the Realme GT 7 which launched in India back in May 2025.

That said, the device will be showcased at the 2025 828 Fan Festival which is scheduled to happen at 11:00 AM UTC (or 4:30 PM IST). Alongside the Chill Fan Phone, there is also a 15,000mAh concept smartphone which the brand will also showcase at the event.
