It's already known that Realme is gearing up to launch its P4 series of smartphones in India. However, the exact launch date was not known, but it has finally changed now.
Realme Global's Head of Product Marketing, Francis Wong, broke the news via his official X handle. According to his post, the Realme P4 series will officially break cover in India on August 20, 2025. The lineup will be officially sold in the subcontinent via the Flipkart e-commerce store.

This comes right after Realme teased the India launch of its P4 series last week. Apart from the launch date announcement, Wong's post also gave us a glimpse into the key highlights of the smartphones. The P4 series is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It will also bring a dedicated GPU Hyper Vision AI processor.
While Wong's post has not explicitly mentioned which P4 series smartphone will arrive with the said dual chip configuration, we believe it to be the Realme P4 Pro. For context, the Realme P4 Pro surfaced in Geekbench a while back with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

Apart from that, the Realme P4 Pro's Flipkart microsite has been updated to reveal some key details. Here's a quick rundown of it all:
- 10-bit 144 Hz HDR 10+ display with 6,500 nits of peak brightness
- Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and Hyper Vision AI chipsets
- 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging
From the looks of it, the Realme P4 Pro will be borrowing a bunch of specifications from the Realme 15 Pro, which launched in India last month. However, the phone is seen sprinkled with some distinct blue, green and golden hues with a marbly texture running across the back panel.
Realme has been quiet about the standard Realme P4, but we expect the brand to start teasing and revealing key details of the device in the coming days.
Wong claims that the Realme P4 series will launch with the same specs as that of a Rs 30,000 smartphone but at an "unbeatable price." Based on that, intial speculations suggest that the Realme P4 could start from below Rs 20,000 while the P4 Pro could begin its offering from under Rs 25,000.
