Chinese smartphone brand Redmagic seems to be gearing up to launch the Redmagic 11 smartphone soon. A new leak has surfaced online giving us a glimpse into the expected configuration of the smartphone.
Leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed via Weibo that the yet-to-be-announced Redmagic 11 is looking to launch with a built-in cooling fan. This is something we first saw with the Oppo K13 Turbo series smartphones that launched in India recently.

However, the part where the Redmagic 11 will reportedly stand out is in its ingress protection rating. DCS claims that at launch, this will become the first IP68-rated smartphone to feature an integrated cooling fan.
To recall, the Oppo K13 Turbo and the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro both feature IPX6 + IPX8+ IPX9 dust resistance. For obvious reasons, the smartphones were unable to offer protection against water. So, it will be interesting to see how Redmagic manages to not only make the 11 waterproof.

Apart from this, not much is available in terms of the core specifications of the smartphone at the time of writing. However, DCS claims that the smartphone will have another trick up its sleeves. We expect that information to get leaked as well in the coming days.
Lastly, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 could very well power the smartphone. With that said, since these are still leaks, take them with a grain of salt. We will be sure to report on other leaks of the Redmagic 11 as and when they appear.
