After multiple teasers and updates, Redmi has finally made the 15A 5G official in India. The brand's latest budget offering is equipped with a 6,300mAh battery and a 120 Hz display, among other specs. Here is a rundown of the detailed specifications, pricing and availability details of the latest smartphone.

Redmi 15A 5G Specifications and Features

One of the key USP of the all-new Redmi 15A 5G is its battery. It features a massive 6,300mAh capacity and comes with 15W USB-C charging support. The phone also gets 7.5W of reverse wired charging. Even after packing a sizeable battery, the smartphone manages to stay slim at 8.15mm. It is also lightweight at 210 grams.

For display, the 15A 5G relies on a big 6.9-inch LCD panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It is TÜV Low Light, Flicker Free and Circadian Friendly certified and also packs 800 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, the smartphone draws its power from the low-power Unisoc T8300 5G chipset and is paired with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also supports 4 GB of virtual RAM expansion and up to 1 TB of microSD card storage expansion.

Software-wise, the smartphone runs on HyperOS 3 update based on Android 16 and is promised with 4 years of Android and 6 years of security upgrades. The OS is sprinkled with several AI features like Circle to Search, AI Edit, AI Translation and more.

Moving on in terms of cameras, the Redmi 15A 5G features a dual rear lens setup with a 32 MP main camera and an undisclosed secondary lens. The selfie camera is an 8 MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.

Apart from that, the phone brings a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an official IP52 rating for enhanced protection. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone gets dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-SIM 5G and GPS support and a USB-C 2.0 port.

Redmi 15A 5G Price in India and Sale Date

The newly launched Redmi 15A 5G starts at Rs 12,999 for the 4 GB + 64 GB model. There are also 4 GB + 128 GB and 6 GB + 128 GB options and they cost Rs 14,499 and Rs 16,499, respectively.

All three RAM and storage options will go on sale starting April 3, 2026 and will be available to purchase via Flipkart, Xiaomi e-store and leading retail outlets. Users will be able to choose from Awesome Blue, Amaze Purple and Ace Black colour options.
