Xiaomi is holding a special hardware launch event on February 28, 2026, where the Xiaomi 17 series will go global. Alongside the phones, the brand will also launch the Redmi Buds 8 Pro and has now confirmed all its key specifications.
Redmi Buds 8 Pro Specifications and Features
The Redmi Buds 8 Pro are equipped with a Coaxial triple-driver system to deliver enhanced bass with clarity in lows and highs. It helps the TWS deliver boosted bass below 100Hz and also brings Hi-res audio support with LDAC codec and Dolby Atmos for surround sound effect.
The earbuds also come with Active Noise Cancellation and are capable to cut up to 55 dB of environmental noise with up to 5kHz bandwidth frequency. It also makes use of a triple microphone array for 12 m/s wind noise reduction.
Moreover, the earbuds come with a dedicated Commuting Mode to smartly tune the ANC level based on scenarios like aeroplanes, high-speed rail and public transportation. It uses advanced AI noise reduction algorithms to achieve this.
Connectivity-wise, the Redmi Buds 8 Pro bring Bluetooth 5.4 support with Dual Device pairing, Audio Sharing support, Google Fast Pair and Xiaomi Earbuds app support. The TWS are also rated to last for up to 33 hours on a single charge, including the charging case.
Apart from that, the Redmi Buds 8 Pro are IP54 rated and come with an in-ear style eartip design with a capacitive stem. As for pricing and availability, Xiaomi has not revealed those details yet. At launch, the earbuds will be sold in Glacier Blue, Cloud White and Obsidian Black colourways. It will also come with two months' worth of complimentary Spotify Premium subscription.
