The Redmi Note 15 5G was teased last week to launch in India. It is coming with a 108 MP main camera and some other interesting details. Now, the official launch date of the smartphone is already out and it is launching sooner than expected.
Redmi Note 15 5G is launching in India in 3 weeks
The official Redmi India X handle has confirmed that the Redmi Note 15 5G will launch in India on January 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. It will be sold in the country via Amazon and the official Redmi India website.
Alongside the launch date announcement, Redmi has also made some of the key specifications of the smartphone official. For instance, the key highlight of the smartphone is going to be a 108 MP Master Pixel main camera. It will bring OIS support and 4K video recording capabilities.
Under the hood, the smartphone is going to pack the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset (close to the latest Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 in terms of performance). It will be paired with a 5,520mAh battery and support 45W fast USB-C charging.
At the front, the Redmi Note 15 5G in India is getting a large 6.77-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz curved AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. On the durability front, the smartphone is going to rock a solid IP66 dust and water resistance.
As for the other details, thanks to the Redmi Note 15 5G global launch a few days back, we already know of its other specs:

That said, a previous Redmi Note 15 5G India pricing leak suggested that the smartphone will launch for Rs 22,999. If true, this will put it in the budget category and could compete with the likes of OnePlus Nord CE 5, Realme P3 Ultra and more.
