Redmi has finally confirmed that its Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ smartphones will go official in China on August 21, 2025, at 7 PM CST (or 4:30 PM IST). The brand has also shared some official images of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, giving us a glimpse into its design.
The official Redmi handle on Weibo announced the details. The Weibo post mentions that the smartphones have been tested in real-world scenarios to make them "truly drop-resistant and waterproof".
The brand further claims that the smartphones will be able to deliver a true flagship-grade experience, especially in the display, battery and connectivity upgrades.

This claim is further backed by the fact that in a separate Weibo post, Redmi has confirmed Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass front protection for the smartphones as well as an official IP69K dust and water resistance rating.
Apart from this, the brand has not revealed much in terms of the key specifications of the devices. However, it has shared some official images of the Note 15 Pro+. Not much has changed when we compare the design to the 2024 Redmi Note 14 Pro+. It still features the large camera deco in the centre with a triple optics module and a "50 MP OIS Camera" branding.

This does confirm that the main camera sensor will be a 50 MP module with support for OIS. Other than that, it has a curved back panel complemented by a quad curved AMOLED display.
Also, a little while ago a Xiaomi smartphone bearing the 2510ERA8BC model number got listed on Geekbench with a new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. This is believed to be the upcoming Note 15 Pro+ smartphone. If true, this will more than make sense since the Note 14 Pro+ launched with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. It could also launch as the first Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 smartphone in China.
Other than that, the device is also rumoured to become the first Redmi smartphone to feature satellite communication. Since, the launch date is only a couple of days away, we won't have to wait long to know for sure.
