The Redmi Note 15 Pro series has now been officially confirmed to launch in China as a successor to the Redmi Note 14 Pro series, which launched in September last year. Additionally, the brand has also revealed that the Note 15 Pro phones will go official as early as this month, that is, August 2025.
Redmi's General Manager Wang Teng Thomas took to his official Weibo handle to reveal the launch timeline. He also spilt some additional details to back up why the brand is keeping the Note series alive. According to Wang, Redmi's Note series of phones have been shipped to over 100 countries at this point.

Most importantly, Wang revealed that the Redmi Note series has now become the "world's best-selling domestic mobile phone in the $175 (approximately Rs 15,000) to $499 (approximately Rs 43,500) price range in the first half of 2025."
Wang goes on to say that the Redmi Note 15 Pro will be launching in August 2025 and "is built to the top standards of 2025." Further, he states that Redmi insists on "creating better high-quality smartphones for users around the world."
Not much is known about the upcoming series. However, given the brand's previous strategy, one can expect to see the lineup include the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+. Meanwhile, the standard Redmi Note 15 could launch later on.
For now, we are looking forward to the Redmi 15 5G India launch scheduled for August 19, 2025. Hopefully, we'll get to hear of an official India launch date for the Redmi Note 15 Pro series soon as well.
