Redmi has officially launched the Note 15 Pro and the Note 15 Pro+ smartphones in China today. Both phones feature a 6.8-inch 120 Hz 1.5K OLED display, 50 MP cameras, 7,000mAh battery and more. Here is a detailed specification, pricing and availability breakdown for the series in China.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Specifications and Features

The Redmi Note 15 Pro series brings the Note 15 Pro and the Note 15 Pro+. Both devices share almost identical specs with minor differences here and there.

Starting with the display of the latest Redmi Note 15 Pro series devices, both phones come with a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz quad curved 12-bit OLED display with Dolby Vision playback and up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. The panels are further protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass.

The screen on both phones are encased within a sleek 7.78mm body (7.91mm on the Note 15 Pro+) and weights 210.6 grams (211 grams on the Note 15 Pro+). Both the smartphones are offered with a glass back panel and in multiple colour options.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features the newly announced Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Both phones complement the SoC with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

In the battery department, there is again no difference with both smartphones getting a 7,000mAh cell. In terms of charging however, the Note 15 Pro+ offers up to 90W USB-C charging while the Note 15 Pro sticks to 45W fast charging.

Redmi is shipping both the Note 15 series devices with Android 15-based Hyper OS 2.0. The brand promises four years of software upgrades and three years of security updates for the smartphones.

Now, talking about the cameras on both phones, there are key differences. For instance, even though the series features a triple rear camera setup, the lenses used are different.

The Note 15 Pro houses a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 sensor paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide Sony IMX355 angle lens and a 2 MP macro shooter. Meanwhile, the Note 15 Pro+ features a 50 MP Light Fusion 800 main camera, a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera and the same 8 MP ultra-wide Sony IMX355 angle lens.

Apart from these specs, the entire Redmi Note 15 Pro lineup gets an official IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rating, an optical fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and more.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Price in China and Sale Date

The Redmi Note 15 Pro starts from 1,499 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 18,100) and goes up to 1,899 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 23,000). Meanwhile, the Note 15 Pro+ has been launched starting from 1,999 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 24,200) and maxes out at 2,499 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 30,400).

In terms of RAM and storage configuration, the Redmi Note 15 Pro offers up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The Note 15 Pro+ on the other hand goes up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

Both smartphones are currently listed on the Xiaomi China website and are available to purchase. Colour options include Midnight Black, Cloud Purple, Sky Blue and Cedar White for the Note 15 Pro series.
