Redmi Pad 2 Pro with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and 12.1-Inch Display Arrives Globally

At a dedicated event today, Xiaomi has made the Redmi Pad 2 Pro official in China. It has debuted alongside the brand-new Xiaomi 15T series and packs features like a 12.1-inch display, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and more. Here is a detailed rundown of the tablet's key specs, pricing and availability details.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro offers a 12,000mAh battery and a 2.5K display

As it is already evident, the key highlight of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro is its battery capacity. It brings a 12,000mAh cell, which Redmi claims can achieve up to 83.5 days of standby performance on a single charge. Speaking of charging, the tablet ships with a 33W USB-C charging brick in the box and also supports 27W reverse wired charging.

Another talking point of the Pad 2 Pro is its display. The Android tablet is equipped with a 12.1-inch 2.5K 120 Hz LCD display, with TUV Rheinland's Low Blue Light, Flicker Free and Circadian certifications.  

The panel is surrounded by even bezels throughout and is encased within a 7.5mm aluminium chassis. It is also lightweight at just 610 grams.

Talking about the tablet's performance, the Pad 2 Pro draws its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. It is paired with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Users will also gain the ability to upgrade the onboard storage by up to 2 TB via microSD card expansion.

Software-wise, the tablet ships with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. It brings Xiaomi Interconnectivity features along with several AI tools like AI Writing, AI Editing and more.

Other than that, Redmi has also added an 8 MP camera at the back and an 8 MP selfie camera to the front of the table. Users will be able to seamlessly attend video calls as well as scan documents and images effortlessly with the all-new tablet.

Apart from this, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro has a Dolby Atmos-backed quad speaker setup, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and more.

Lastly, talking about the tablet's pricing, it will initially go on sale in Europe with a starting price of 349 euros (approximately Rs 36,200) for the 6 GB + 128 GB model. Interested folks can purchase the tablet in the Lavender Purple, Graphite Grey and Silver colour options.
