Redmi Turbo 5 with Dimensity 8500 Spotted on Geekbench

Big-battery phones are quickly becoming the norm, with even 7,000mAh packs no longer turning heads. The upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 takes things several notches higher with a massive 9,000mAh battery. That said, battery capacity isn't its only selling point as a freshly surfaced Redmi Turbo 5 Geekbench listing also suggests strong performance. 

Redmi Turbo 5 Geekbench listing reveals key specs

The Redmi Turbo 5 has appeared on Geekbench 6.5.0 with the model number 2511FRT34C. It has managed to score 1,594 points in the single-core test and 6,686 points in the multi-core test.

The listing also reveals the chipset architecture, with four cores clocked at 2.20 GHz, three cores clocked at 3.20 GHz and a single core clocked at 3.40 GHz. Now, this strongly suggests the processor to be the newly launched Dimensity 8500 SoC.

Additionally, the Redmi Turbo 5 Geekbench listing reveals that the phone will arrive with 16 GB of RAM. We also get to know that the phone will come with Android 16, flaunting all the HyperOS 3 features right out of the box. 

Since the Redmi Turbo 5 pre-orders are already live in China, we can expect the brand to reveal a concrete launch date anytime soon. Apart from that, the phone is already confirmed to arrive with 100W PPS wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging.
