Alongside the brand-new Galaxy S26 series, Samsung has also expanded its audio lineup in the country. The Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are the latest family members and bring several new features, including a redesigned look.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro Specifications and Features
Samsung has opted for an in-ear style design with the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. They feature flat stems on each earbud, which curve from the top section. Compared to the sharp look of the Galaxy Buds 3 series, the newer generation earbuds are much more compact and ergonomic.
Even the charging case is now different from the previous generation. While it retains the same top transparent lid, the Galaxy Buds 4 now rest horizontally inside. This gives it a ring box-like design, unlike most earbud cases in the market.

Now, coming to specifications, the Buds 4 series features the same hardware as the previous generation. However, Samsung claims that they now feature larger speakers and a wider woofer, increasing the sound area by up to 20%. The Buds 4 is equipped with an 11mm dynamic driver, while the Buds 4 Pro get a 2-way 10.5mm dynamic driver with a 6.1mm Planar.
Both TWS are tuned to deliver a natural sound with support for up to 24-bit/96 kHz audio. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) performance has also been improved. By using Samsung's advanced EQ algorithm, the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro can dynamically adjust frequency levels in real-time for scenario-based noise cancellation.
The new earbuds also come with a new Super Clear Call feature which uses super wideband call technology to reduce background noise on both ends of a call. This significantly eliminates the environmental noise, ensuring a natural communication experience.

Another interesting feature that the new earbuds come with is head gesture support. It brings an intuitive gesture-based navigation that uses head tracking to perform several hands-free actions. Users can answer and decline calls, dismiss notifications and even summon AI assistants and Bixby using head gestures.
Speaking of gestures, in case you are not a fan of that, the stem of the Galaxy earbuds still supports pinch and tap controls. It now comes with 4 pinch controls, including one to activate ANC and a double or triple pinch for playback.

Also, with the Galaxy Buds 4 series, Samsung has upgraded its conversation detection system. Users can now add up to three nicknames and based on the detected name, the earbuds can intelligently switch between ANC and transparency mode. It blends seamlessly into the conversation and doesn't require manual intervention to work.
