Samsung Galaxy F17 5G with 50 MP Camera Launched in India for Under Rs 15,000

Samsung has made a new budget Galaxy smartphone official in India. The Galaxy F17 5G brings specs like an AMOLED display, the Exynos 1330 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery and more to the table. Here is a quick specification, pricing and availability rundown of the smartphone in the country.

Since this is a budget smartphone, there are not a lot of standout features to talk about. For starters, the Samsung Galaxy F17 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 90 Hz Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and 1,100 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, Samsung has equipped the smartphone with the budget Exynos 1330 processor. It is further paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The device also supports microSD card storage expansion of up to 2 TB.

It brings Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. The device brings several Galaxy AI features along with support for six years of software updates and security patches.

Coming to the battery, the smartphone gets a 5,000mAh cell with 25W USB-C charging support.

Talking about the cameras, the back gets a triple camera setup housed within a vertical pill-shaped module. It features a 50 MP main sensor, a 5 MP portrait lens and a 2 MP macro shooter. At the front, there is a 13 MP selfie shooter.

 Samsung has priced the all-new Galaxy F17 5G in India starting from Rs 14,499 for the 4 GB + 128 GB model. It will also be offered in a 6 GB + 128 GB configuration, and it will cost Rs 15,999.

Both variants of the smartphone are already available to purchase via the Samsung India website, Flipkart and brand-authorised retail outlets. Interested buyers will be able to choose from Neo Black and Violet Pop colourways.

Additionally, as part of the launch offer, every early bird customer will be able to enjoy up to 6 months of no-cost EMI benefits. HDFC Bank customers and UPI transactions will attract an additional Rs 500 discount on the base price of the smartphone.
