Samsung is reportedly looking to add a new member to the "Galaxy F" family, the Galaxy F17 5G. The upcoming budget Android smartphone from the brand is expected to land in India soon. Ahead of that, a major specification and pricing leak of the smartphone has spilled the beans on its alleged details entirely.
Folks over at Smartprix have exclusively outed the details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F17 5G smartphone. It is said to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 90 Hz Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Underneath, the smartphone is expected to draw its power from the 6 nm Samsung Exynos 1330 processor. It will reportedly get paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. Software-wise, the publication claims that the smartphone will ship with Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box.
Apart from this, Samsung is likely looking to pack a 5,000mAh battery inside the smartphone with 25W USB-C charging support.

As for the cameras, the Galaxy F17 5G is reportedly getting a triple rear camera treatment with a 50 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP macro camera. It is also said to feature a 13 MP selfie shooter.
Apart from this, the report also mentions IP54 rating for the smartphone and 7.5 mm thickness. So, there's that. Price-wise, the publication claims that the base 4 GB + 128 GB model of the Galaxy F17 5G will retail for Rs 14,499.
Meanwhile, the other 6 GB + 128 GB variant will reportedly cost Rs 15,999. That said, the upcoming Galaxy F17 5G looks a lot like the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A17 5G. So, we expect it to launch in India as a rebranded Galaxy A17 5G. We will know for sure one the smartphone lands officially in the country.
