Sennheiser has brought its Accentum Open TWS earbuds to India, offering an open-ear design for under Rs 10,000. The earbuds promise premium audio quality, long battery life and multipoint Bluetooth connectivity. Here are all the details.

Starting with the design, Sennheiser's Accentum Open TWS follows the "open-ear" path. This means that it does not feature the silicone eartips. The brand claims that this eartipless design "ensures comfort for extended use during walking, calls, and media consumption."
Both earbuds feature 11 mm dynamic drivers. These are positioned in a way that they are close to the ear canal when worn. This is done to deliver elevated audio quality while ensuring less ear fatigue.
Speaking of audio quality, the earbuds support A2DP, AVRC and HFP sound profiles along with SBC and AAC audio codecs. It also features a 25 Hz to 15 kHz sound frequency range and up to 109 dB of SPL sensitivity.

Due to its open ear design, the TWS cannot offer Active Noise Cancellation. However, thanks to dual-beamforming microphones, the TWS can eliminate background noise and enhance audio clarity during calls. It also features Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable connection and dual device pairing for multipoint connectivity.
Talking about the battery life, the charging case comes with a 400mAh cell with 36mAh units inside each earbud. Sennheiser claims up to 28 hours of battery life (earbuds and case combined).
Other than that, the earbuds are IPX4 and are also lightweight at 4.35 grams.
