The Sony Xperia 10 VIII launch is officially confirmed for August 25, 2026, and ahead of it, marketing material has surfaced online, revealing the phone's design.
The image, shared exclusively by Android Headlines, shows the back of the Xperia 10 VIII held in someone's hand. The phone appears to come in a white finish with what looks like a subtle hint of green mixed in, though it's a fairly understated tone.
Beyond the colour, the design itself is where things get genuinely uneventful. The phone carries a flat backplate with a horizontal camera bar at the top housing two camera sensors, an LED flash and the Sony logo positioned right next to them.

Now, this is a layout that looks nearly indistinguishable from its predecessor, the Sony Xperia 10 VII, which launched last year. Going by how closely the back matches its predecessor, it's a safe bet the front will follow the same pattern too.
We could expect the Sony Xperia 10 VIII to stick with thicker top and bottom bezels rather than adopting a punch-hole or notch cutout, consistent with Sony's approach to the Xperia 10 series for some time now.
On the right edge of the phone, the image also shows a volume rocker with a power button positioned just below it, which doubles as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, avoiding the need for a separate protruding sensor.
Meanwhile, a dedicated camera shutter button isn't visible in the shot, likely because the hand holding the phone is covering it, since the Xperia 10 VII had one in the same spot.
Sony Xperia 10 VIII Specifications Leaked
The Geekbench listing of the Sony Xperia 10 VIII recently showed up, with the phone hitting 871 points and 3,028 points in the single-core and multi-core scores, respectively.

Additionally, the listing also confirms that the phone carries the QTI SM6475 chipset, which is the model number for the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. As per the listing, the phone will arrive with 8 GB of RAM and run Android 16 out of the box.
Between an unchanged design, likely the same chipset and identical RAM, the Sony Xperia 10 VIII could be a fairly conservative update on paper. What Sony actually plans to change, if anything, should become clear when the phone is officially unveiled on August 25, 2026.
