Tecno has started teasing the launch of a new budget smartphone in India, the Tecno Pop X. The Pop X is going to launch this week in the country via Amazon.
Tecno Pop X India launch date set for Holi
The official Tecno Pop X Amazon microsite has confirmed March 4, 2026 as the launch date of the smartphone. It will go official at 12:00 PM IST and will be sold exclusively via the e-commerce brand.
The page has shown off the smartphone in a white colour option with a blue flame-like pattern at the bottom half. There appears to be only a single camera at the back in a pill-shaped cutout. Also, the bezels around the 120 Hz display are thicker but appear even.
As for its specifications, there is no word on them yet. However, based on current leaks, it appears that the Tecno Pop X is going to be a rebrand of the Tecno Spark Go 3, which launched in India in January 2026. Based on that, we can expect the upcoming smartphone to feature the following specs:
- 6.74-inch HD+ 120 Hz LCD
- Unisoc T7250 processor
- 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB eMMC5.1 storage
- 5,000mAh battery with 15W USB-C charging
- 13 MP back camera and 8 MP front camera
- HiOS 15 based on Android 15
- 4G connectivity
That said, the above-mentioned specifications are purely speculative and hence, should be taken with a pinch of salt. Since the Tecno Pop X launch in happening in the next couple of days, we should hear more details shortly.
