Vivo has begun teasing its pocket-sized S50 Pro Mini and has confirmed some key details ahead of its China launch. For now, we know of the kind of performance the upcoming Vivo S50 Pro Mini will flaunt.
Vivo S50 Pro Mini will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip
Han Boxiao, Product Manager at Vivo, took to Weibo to confirm that the Vivo S50 Pro Mini will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. In addition, this teaser reveals that the upcoming phone has scored over 3 million points on AnTuTu, which puts it in the same league as top-tier flagships. We also get to know that the phone will be sporting LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

So, from the looks of it, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini could indeed be a performance-centric compact flagship. This "Battle Angel" of a flagship is part of a broader lineup, which also includes the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro. While nothing else has been confirmed about the phone, it was recently spotted in the 3C certification listing with 90W fast charging.
The Vivo S50 Pro Mini China launch is expected to happen sometime next month. So, expect to see the brand confirm more details in the coming days and weeks leading up to the launch. In India and globally, the phone is expected to launch as the Vivo X300 FE.
