Vivo is apparently looking to launch a toned-down model of the Vivo V60 – the Vivo V60 Lite 5G. While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the entire spec list along with the device's images have now appeared online.
Tech publication Passionategeekz has shared the alleged specifications and images of the Vivo V60 Lite 5G. The upcoming device looks very similar to the recently launched Vivo V60. However, there are noticeable differences as well.

For starters, unlike the V60 which featured a quad-curved display, the V60 Lite 5G appears to feature a flat panel. It is still expected to sport a 6.77-inch 120 Hz AMOLED panel. However, unlike the V60's 1.5K resolution the Lite model is said to bear only Full HD+ resolution. Additionally, the V60 Lite 5G is expected to bring 2,000 nits of peak brightness in comparison to the V60's 5,000 nits.
Even at the back, unlike the V60's curved back panel, the V60 Lite 5G appears to have settled for a flat profile. It retains the pill-shaped camera module which is home to a dual camera setup. However, it misses out on the third lens which the V60 offers and also on the "Zeiss" imaging branding. There is still the Aura Light, though.

Not only that, the specifications of the V60 Lite 5G's cameras are also said to be different from its elder sibling. The publication claims that the smartphone will feature a 50 MP main sensor with a 2 MP secondary lens. At the front, the device will bring a 32 MP selfie shooter.
Moving on, in terms of performance, the V60 Lite 5G is said to equip the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. This is a popular chipset choice for smartphones in India which launch within the Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 price bracket. So, we can expect the V60 Lite 5G to also launch within the same ballpark.

Since this is going to be a Vivo smartphone, we expect it to ship with Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 out of the box just like the V60. Additionally, the battery on the V60 Lite 5G is also said to be the same as that of the V60, with a 6,500mAh capacity. Here as well, it is said to support 90W fast USB-C charging.
Apart from this, expect the V60 Lite 5G to bring features like an IP69 rating, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and more to the table.
That said, currently the Vivo V60 Lite 5G is expected to arrive in countries like Malaysia and Europe first. However, Vivo could also bring this "lite" variant of the V60 to India to compete under the Rs 20,000 smartphone segment.
