Vivo has officially unveiled a new budget smartphone in China, the Vivo Y50i. The device features a 6,000mAh battery, the Dimensity 6300 processor and more. Here are the device's complete specifications, as well as pricing and availability details.
Vivo Y50i flaunts the AI Transcript and AI Object Remover features
Software-wise, the Vivo Y50i ships with Android 15-based Origin OS 5. It brings several nifty features like volume boost by 200% brightness boost by 150% and more. There are several AI-based options as well, like AI Transcript, Circle to Search, AI Documents, AI Object Remover and more.

One of the highlighting features of the smartphone is its battery capacity. Vivo has packed a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon cell inside the Y50i. It is rated to last for up to 5 years with only 80% of the capacity lost. The device also supports 15W USB-C charging for quick top-ups.

At the front, the device features a 6.74-inch HD+ 90 Hz LCD display with up to 180 Hz Touch Sampling rate and in the 20:9 aspect ratio. The panel offers a teardrop cutout at the top which houses the 5 MP selfie camera.

Speaking of cameras, there is a dual camera setup at the back which houses a 13 MP main camera with and f/2.2 aperture and a secondary CMOS sensor. Both the front and rear module can shoot up to 1080p @ 30 FPS videos.

Under the hood, the smartphone draws its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It is paired with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of eMMC5.1 storage. There is also the option to virtually extend the RAM by up to 6 GB.
Apart from this, the Y50i also brings a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a single bottom firing speaker, SGS drop protection, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, dual SIM 5G, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C 2.0 port.
That said, the Vivo Y50i has been listed on the Vivo China website for 1,499 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 19,000). It is already available to purchase in the Diamond Black, Azure and Platinum colour options.
