After a bunch of teasers and updates, Vivo has finally launched the all-new Y600 Pro in China. It succeeds the Y500 Pro as a premium mid-range smartphone with a 1.5K display, Dimensity processor, 50 MP camera and more. However, the biggest highlight of the Vivo Y600 Pro is its monstrous battery capacity.
Vivo Y600 Pro Specifications and Features
As it is clearly evident, the standout feature of the Vivo Y600 Pro is its battery capacity. It has become the first phone in the world to bring a massive 10,200mAh battery capacity, thanks to thanks to third-gen silicon-carbon battery technology. It is backed by 80W fast USB-C charging and 27W reverse wired charging to help users top-up their TWS, power bank, laptop and even other smartphones.
Even though Vivo has packed such a massive battery inside the Y600 Pro, the most impressive feat is the fact that the phone still stays slim and lightweight at 8.25 mm and 223 grams. For durability, the phone features military-grade SGS Gold Label Five-Star Drop and Fall Resistance certification and an official IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.

Now, coming to the display, the smartphone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz OLED display with 3,840 Hz of PWM Dimming, SGS Blue Light certification and up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness.
For performance, the Vivo Y600 Pro makes use of the Dimensity 7300e processor, which is a toned-down variant of the Dimensity 7400 chipset used inside the last-gen Vivo Y500 Pro. So, it seems like the processor on the Y600 Pro has been downgraded. The SoC is paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box.

Cameras are the next area where the Y600 Pro takes a step backward. Instead of the last-gen's 200 MP Samsung HP5 main camera, it uses a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.9 aperture and OIS. The secondary camera remains intact at 2 MP, but third camera has been completely removed from the Y600 Pro.
For selfies, the phone uses the same 32 MP f/2.45 shooter from the Y500 Pro. Aside from that, it also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, dual SIM 5G and a USB-C 2.0 port.
As for the pricing, the Vivo Y600 Pro starts at 1,999 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 28,000) for the 8 GB + 128 GB model. It is also available in four other RAM and storage options and the top variant costs 2,899 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 40,000). Interested folks can choose from three distinct colour options - Starry Purple, Vast Blue, Bright Moon and Floating Gold.
